PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE

Physical Therapy Aides assist Physical Therapists in providing services that help improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Physical Therapy Aides work in health care teams with Doctors, Nurses, Occupational and Physical Therapists offices, schools for the physically challenged, home health care settings and more. In addition to learning the necessary Physical Therapy Aide modalities for a successful career, students in this program will have the extraordinary opportunity to be trained in basic and advanced massage techniques. Upon completion of the course, you may work in a Physical Therapy office under a licensed physician as a physical therapist aide.

Alternative healthcare is becoming increasingly popular for stress reduction, soft tissue relaxation, and restoration as well as injury-recovery therapy. Career choices include: working in conjunction with personal trainers or Doctors, Rehab/Occupational centers, Senior Centers, Sports facilities, Chiropractors, and Physical Therapists offices.
