Certified
Nursing Assistant: “CNA” |
||||
|
Your
responsibilities will include answering call lights, serving meals,
making beds and bathing patients. A CNA may also take patient temperatures,
pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure. As an intuitive caregiver,
one of the most significant tasks a CNA performs is regular tracking
of a patient's physical, emotional or mental health and reporting any
major changes to higher medical staff. Upon certification a CNA may
work in a variety of environments including hospitals, residences, assisted
living facilities, and nursing homes. The employment outlook is predicted
to be very good due to an increase in the need for long-term healthcare
of the aging population in the United States.
