Our outstanding instructors assist each student to discover their abilities both academically and emotionally. Our training will enhance your critical thinking skills as well as your interpersonal skills. As certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will work under the supervision of registered nurses, assisting them in basic patient care.

Your responsibilities will include answering call lights, serving meals, making beds and bathing patients. A CNA may also take patient temperatures, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure. As an intuitive caregiver, one of the most significant tasks a CNA performs is regular tracking of a patient's physical, emotional or mental health and reporting any major changes to higher medical staff. Upon certification a CNA may work in a variety of environments including hospitals, residences, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The employment outlook is predicted to be very good due to an increase in the need for long-term healthcare of the aging population in the United States.
