National Certification Preparatory Course
Do you need to get ready for the - National Certification Exam in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork – NCETMB?
LAVI is currently enrolling students for the NCETMB Preparatory Course.
The Preparatory course is designed to help you prepare for the Massage Therapy National Certification Exam - NCETMB.
This course is open to students who have completed a massage therapy program of instruction (minimum 500 hr. of training) with an accredited school and are preparing to take the NCETMB National Certification Examination.

If you do not have the minimum 500 hours required for the test, you may enroll for the hours you need in order to complete the National Requirements.
Topics will include:

1. General Knowledge of Body Systems
2. Detailed Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and Pathology
3. Eastern Philosophy
4. Therapeutic Massage Assessment
5. Therapeutic Massage Application
6. Professional Standards, Ethics, Business and Legal Practices

Students will take sample tests and discuss specific content areas and techniques for study and preparation with instructors.

This test is required for those who are pursuing licensing as CMTs or LMTs in
33 US states that recognize and require NCETMB certification examination.
